Chengdu Aeronautic Polytechnic

Chengdu Aeronautic Polytechnic (CAP) was founded in 1965, it is situated at Chengdu, the city of over a thousand year-old cultural history in “The Land of Abundance”. CAP is a full-time college directly under Sichuan Provincial Department of Education and is one of the first 28 demonstration colleges among the 1300 higher vocational and technical colleges nationwide. CAP covers about 900 mu (6000, 000 square meters) and has approximately 12000 full-time students and 450 full-time teachers. CAP has always attached importance to international cooperation and exchanges and has established good partnerships with nearly 30 higher education institutions in America, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, South Korea and Yemen and so on. For years CAP has trained tens of thousands of highly skilled personnel for aviation industry and regional economy construction, and the yearly employment rate of CAP keeps to 95%.
